The director of the Red Crescent’s ambulance and emergency center in the Nablus Governorate, Amjad Ahmed, announced the death of 17-year-old Muhammad Wahbi Abdul Aziz Hanani, who was killed last night by soldiers in the village of Beit Furik.
Ahmed explained that the teenager was shot in the head with live ammunition during a military incursion, in which another minor was wounded in the leg.
Meanwhile, the army launched new raids in the West Bank early this morning.
The Safa news agency reported that five Palestinians were arrested in the city of Qalqilya, three more in the Al-Arroub refugee camp, and two in the village of Beita.
In that context, the Palestinian Information Center reported that Israeli forces and settlers committed 1,093 rapes in the West Bank last week.
In a statement, the NGO specified that the figure included three killings and injuries to 52 other people, in addition to 157 arrests and 19 deportations.
