In a statement released via the social media platform InSocial, the agency labeled such allegations “misleading information” and urged the public not to give credence to unverified reports.

The center emphasized that Türkiye, which respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of neighboring countries, takes the necessary measures to guarantee the security of its borders at all times, both in crisis situations and in times of normalcy.

It also urged the public to consider only statements issued by official state institutions.
