According to the North Korean news agency KCNA, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and other members of the Party’s central leadership body are leading the discussions with the aim of deepening the direction and work plans for each sector.

The 9th WPK Congress has been in session in this capital since February 19, under the guidance of the DPRK’s top leader, Kim Jong Un, who was re-elected as General Secretary.

Each of the speeches by the Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of this country sets essential guidelines for subsequent studies and debates.

So far, participants have expressed their support for the principles of the five-year strategy presented by the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea, which implements socialist construction with a scientific approach.

During the discussions, projects to achieve gradual qualitative development have been addressed, building upon the foundations laid during the Eighth Party Period in all sectors of the national economy.
