In a message posted on his social media account, the Cuban president stated that these actions violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Iranian nation.

Diaz-Canel affirmed that the aggression ruins, for the second time, diplomatic efforts regarding the nuclear issue and endangers regional and international peace and security.

“The effects already being felt in that turbulent region demonstrate this,” he emphasized.

The head of state called on the international community to act immediately to halt this aggression and prevent an escalation of the conflict, given its unpredictable consequences.

For his part, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez reiterated Havana’s condemnation of the attacks and emphasized that these irresponsible actions occurred precisely while talks on the nuclear issue were underway.

“These irresponsible actions undermine international peace and security and constitute a clear violation of international law and the UN Charter,” Rodríguez stated.
