In a statement, the political force, loyal to its internationalist, anti-imperialist, and anti-Zionist principles, strongly repudiated the cowardly and criminal act of “American imperialism and its Zionist ally.”

They are once again attacking a sovereign nation that refuses to submit, the statement emphasized, adding that this attack against Iran is not an isolated incident; it is part of the imperialist strategy.

This strategy, it noted, is driven by the desire to seize the natural resources of nations; to create instability, fragmentation, and destruction, and thus maintain its global hegemony, now in decline, thereby violating international law.

They disrespect the independence, sovereignty, and self-determination of peoples, the historical left-wing group in this country stated.

American imperialism, through its current president (Donald Trump), is attempting to establish the narrative that Iran is the aggressor and that, therefore, the United States and Israel “are within their rights” to act as an act of “legitimate self-defense” and that “it is directed solely against military and nuclear installations.”

The URNG demanded an immediate end to the genocidal attacks and respect for Iranian sovereignty. It expressed solidarity with the families of the victims and with the entire Iranian people, who, once again, are demonstrating their capacity for resistance against US and Israeli state terrorism.
