Ramaphosa is on a state visit to this nation aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
The South African Presidency announced that Ramaphosa’s visit will focus on strengthening diplomatic, political, economic, and trade relations, as well as deepening cooperation in agribusiness, aerospace, creative industries, defense, energy, mining, science and technology, sports, and tourism.
It also aims to address shared geopolitical priorities as members of the Global South, including cooperation with the BRICS, the India-Brazil-South Africa Dialogue Forum, the G77+China, the G20, and the United Nations.
In addition to the meeting between the two presidents, a Business Forum will be held this Monday to boost greater trade collaboration, in which representatives from the agribusiness, aerospace, chemical, defense, energy, engineering, mining, maritime, and pharmaceutical sectors will participate.
Ramaphosa’s agenda also includes visits to the National Congress and the Federal Supreme Court.
