Health in Cuba remains a priority over energy blockade

Havana, Mar 13 (Prensa Latina) Public health remains a priority for the government of Cuba, a nation that is suffering from the impact of the energy blockade after being unable to purchase fuel for more than three months.

Based on a group of investments and efforts, polyclinics, maternal and elderly homes were favored with photovoltaic energy, the president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, specified while taking art in national chain to address issues of national and international interest.

He highlighted that 120 children due to their condition have the necessary air conditioning.

The country has made an investment to obtain 400 electric cars, and the first ones that arrive will be destined for the transfer of hemodialysis patients throughout the country, this is something very sensitive and we must not depend on fossil fuel to guarantee this service.

These vehicles will also have time available for other health-related tasks.

What a strange dictatorship it is that in the midst of this energy situation we are concerned because these patients of hemodialysis have a solution, polyclinics, and other basic services to the population?, the president asked.
