Rodolfo Arriaga, Director of Programming at the Sinaloa Institute of Culture (SIC), highlighted that the festival is held, for the third consecutive year, in a seasonal format, extending its activities from March to May and with an additional venue in Mazatlan.
Cuban guitarists Joaquin Clerch and Alejandro Gonzalez; Mexicans Oman Kaminsky and Dantor; and French classical guitarist Emilie Fend, who will share diverse styles and approaches with the audience, attend the event.
The festival also includes an academic agenda with masterclasses, workshops, and training activities, in addition to the Culiacan International Guitar Competition, considered one of the cornerstones of this event.
The Secretariat of Culture stated that the Sinaloa International Guitar Festival has established itself as one of the most significant events of its kind in Mexico and Latin America.
