The government denies fake news that involve Delcy Rodriguez

Caracas, Mar 24(Prensa Latina) The government today denied a new fake news released by the Spanish press that links the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez with an alleged payment, through Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), to the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party.

The official account in X Miraflores Al Momento (@ALMomento_M) labeled the information of the newspaper El Español as fake news, whose publication is now allowed only for subscribers.

The post shows a photo of Rodríguez with former Spanish Minister of Public Works José Luis Ábalos (2018-2021) and a document with the identification stamps of the Bolivarian Republic and Pdvsa with the word confidential in red.

According to @ALMomento_M, El Español lies by claiming that the official supposedly negotiated in Barajas with the businessman Víctor de Aldama six million barrels of crude oil to finance the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party.

The newspaper reported in its epigraph that Rodríguez and Ábalos “agreed to make available the oil of Pdvsa for 45 days, according to the judicial statement of Aldama”. He pointed out that the document is dated February 4, 2020, “two weeks after the accidental visit.”

From last January to date, international media outlets have increased the fake news against the main figures of the political leadership of Venezuela, who considered these actions as acts aimed at damaging their credibility and the unity of the revolutionary forces.
