Through her Telegram account, the acting head of State said that the ambassador will be committed to representing the dignified and sovereign voice of the Bolivarian Republic in the multilateral arena.

“We trust in her experience and extensive diplomatic career to consolidate Venezuela’s presence in the United Nations system, defending our interests and strengthening cooperation in all international forums,” she declared.

Rodriguez expressed her recognition and gratitude to Samuel Moncada, who held this position since 2017 and “will now undertake new international duties.”
