According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, Irvani sent letters to the UN Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council, specifically naming the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait.
The documents, based on assessments by the Iranian Armed Forces, state that Washington and Tel Aviv continue to use the airspace and territory of these countries to carry out “illegal military operations.”
The diplomat urged these states to respect the principle of good neighborliness and to prevent their territories from being used in actions against Iran.
Tehran also reiterated that, while it respects the sovereignty of neighboring countries, it reserves the right to take all necessary measures, including self-defense, to protect its territorial integrity and political independence.
