Hadad, who was a former Ambassador to Jordan, Iraq, and Egypt, stated, “We are facing an unprecedented case in the history of the United Nations because Israel does not comply with any of the resolutions passed in favor of Palestine, not even the 1949 resolution on the establishment of two states.”
The lawyer revealed, in an interview with Prensa Latina, that the regime of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has committed the worst crimes defined in the Rome Statute, such as aggression, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and genocide.
The number of Palestinians killed since October 2023 is approaching 82,000, mostly women and children.
Hadad, who is also a university professor, remembered that arrest warrants have been issued against Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for the crimes of genocide and ecocide, as well as for using starvation as a weapon of war.
The lawyer leads the citizens’ initiative of the Lawyers for Palestine organization, which is calling on the United Nations to implement Article 6 of its Charter and expel Israel for violations of its founding principles.
Hadad also condemned, during his interview, the strikes on Lebanon and predicted that Jordan and Egypt would come later to take control of the entire Arab world.
