With choreography by Aszure Barton, the company members will offer the public a performance that will also feature the captivating interpretation of the Alma String Quartet and Adriana Lopez-Gavilan.

“We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming performance with Malpaso Dance Company, where chamber music and contemporary dance meet in a unique dialogue,” the quartet added on its Facebook page.

The music is by Balanescu Quartet, Michael Nyman, and Nils Frahm, while the costume design is by Fritz Masten.

Malpaso Dance Company, since its founding in 2012, has become one of Cuba’s most acclaimed dance companies, with a growing international profile.

The group has a very distinctive approach to each choreography and is also known for the rigorous physical training of its dancers.

Modern, classical, and contemporary styles define its choreographic works, which have been performed in Cuba and abroad to great acclaim.
