Emblematic compositions from the repertoire of the “mulato acelerao” (fast-paced mulatto), as the artist is also known, captivated the audience at the amphitheater, one of the festival’s venues.
Images shared on social media reflect the vibrant energy of the night, illuminated by the sounds of “Aqui estamos” (Here We Are), “La Lucecita” (The Little Light), “El almendron” (My Old Car), and “Suena una Isla” (Dream of an Island), among other songs.
Another highlight for locals and visitors alike was the “El Aguila de la Trocha” (The Eagle of the Trocha) parade, held along the main street of the municipality of Moron.
After the parade, which included the Municipal Band, young people, and members of the public of all ages, the celebrations continued at the local theater.
Pina Colada has scheduled another performance by Arnaldo Rodriguez and El Talisman at Pio Leiva venue in Moron, while Buena Fe will perform at Teatro Principal in Ciego de Avila city.
Other guest artists complete Saturday’s lineup for the most musical cocktail party in central Cuba.
