The head of the National Emergency Organization, Jafar Mayadfar, explained that the victims lost their lives while providing assistance to the wounded during the bombings.

  Meanwhile, the death toll from the attack on the B1 bridge in Karaj, in Alborz province, rose to 13, according to the director general of the Martyrs and Veterans Foundation of that province, Amir Hossein Daneshkohin.

  Authorities had previously reported eight dead and 95 wounded after the attack on this key infraestructure, meanwhile, the Tasnim news agency reported that two people were executed in Iran after being convicted of participating in what authorities described as terrorist acts and belonging to an illegal armed organization.

  According to the Iranian judiciary, the sentences were upheld by the Supreme Court, which accused the convicted individuals of carrying out sabotage and armed operations.

  These events come amid the military escalation that began on February 28, which has left thousands dead and wounded in Iran, while Tehran responds with missile and drone attacks.
