In a statement released by local media, military authorities indicated that the operation was carried out using drones and targeted facilities housing missile systems and communications equipment belonging to the United States.

According to the statement, this attack followed a previous offensive against the Arifjan base, also in Kuwait, which reportedly caused significant damage.

The Iranian military also reported a drone attack against petrochemical facilities near the Israeli city of Dimona.

For its part, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense reported that its armed forces intercepted nine ballistic missiles, four cruise missiles, and 31 drones in its airspace over the past 24 hours.

The organization specified that, since the beginning of what it described as “Iranian aggression,” 336 ballistic missiles, 13 cruise missiles, and 740 drones have been launched.

The increase in military actions occurs within the context of the conflict that began on February 28, when Israel and the United States launched operations against Iran, resulting in numerous casualties, including high-ranking Iranian officials.

Tehran has responded with missile and drone attacks against Israeli territory and targets it considers linked to US interests in several countries in the region.
