The Palestinian Center for Missing and Forcibly Disappeared Persons issued a statement on the children’s tragedy in the coastal enclave, devastated after more than two years of Israeli attacks.
The organization noted that the military campaign has turned their lives into an open-air scene of death, loss, and disappearance.
The Center highlighted that at least 21,500 children and adolescents in the Gaza Strip lost their lives during the conflict.
It stressed that these figures reflect the magnitude of the unprecedented humanitarian disaster, which affected the most vulnerable group in the territory, in flagrant violation of all international humanitarian law.
In light of that situation, it called on the world to put an end to this tragedy and for an international investigation into the crimes of enforced disappearance.
