In an official statement, the military institution reported that the high-ranking officer died in an offensive carried out early Monday morning, which it described as a direct aggression against the country.
The statement emphasized that Khademi dedicated nearly half a century to national security work, playing a key role in protecting Iran’s stability against what it described as external threats.
The Revolutionary Guard expressed its condolences and highlighted the officer’s career, describing him as an experienced leader committed to the defense of the state.
The announcement comes amid the military escalation in the region, marked by confrontations between Iran, on one side, and the United States and Israel, on the other.
According to Iranian sources, military actions continue with attacks against infrastructure and targets within the country, while Tehran responds with operations targeting US military bases in the region and in occupied territories.
