The Cuban Embassy in Singapore noted that Quesada Luna presented to the business platform from several nations the new business and investment opportunities in the Cuban market and explained the objectives, challenges, and opportunities in priority sectors.
The ambassador’s speech opened new doors to cooperation and business with small and medium-sized private companies from Singapore and other countries in the region in strategic sectors such as mining, oil extraction, waste treatment and use, and renewable energy, among others.
The diplomat assessed the establishment of ties with the family-owned private business system, an increasingly prevalent model in the global market and of interest to the Cuban market.
The exclusive, closed-door meeting took place on April 8 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center in this capital, and was organized by Dr. Sharmila Nagarajan, founder of Famposo Global Singapore.
The event brought together more than 50 family offices, institutional investors, and venture capital leaders from more than 10 countries to explore co-investment opportunities, strategic alliances, and emerging trends in advanced technology, smart living, and sustainable development.
