“The EU, in its eagerness to participate in the negotiations, insisted on the need to provide firm security guarantees to Ukraine as a key element for a peaceful solution.
It should be noted that no one in the EU mentioned security guarantees for Russia, without which the conflict cannot be resolved,” the Russian Foreign Minister said in a statement.
According to the Russian Foreign Minister, the EU is prepared to do “anything, even trample on its own values and ideals, formerly declared and now false, for the sake of a utopian goal: the strategic defeat of Russia.”
