“The ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel is a positive step toward the processes seeking peace and stability in the Middle East,” the Foreign Minister stated in a message on X.
Although he approved of the agreement, Rodriguez also questioned whether the truce would be respected by the Zionist regime.
“The unconditional withdrawal of Israeli troops from Lebanese territory is urgently needed,” he said, and demanded “respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of that Arab nation.”
