During a press conference held at the conclusion of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, the Turkish Foreign Minister drew attention to what he described as an ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people in that enclave.

  Fidan emphasized that Israeli actions in Gaza continue to show this reality “in its various forms,” ​​and denounced the lack of clear pronouncements on the matter from the international community.

  The Turkish Foreign Minister also warned that Israeli policy has transcended the regional arena and constitutes a global security problem.

  “We are talking about an extremist fundamentalist government, which has become a scourge for the entire world,” he said, referring to the administration headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In that context, Fidan denounced the Israeli occupation for continuing to violate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza Strip, in effect since October 10, 2025, which has resulted in further casualties among the Palestinian population.

  According to reports, the Israeli offensive has caused the deaths of more than 72,000 Palestinians and tens of thousands of injuries during more than two years of war in the territory.
