The initiative supports the call made by the president, during the ceremony commemorating the 65th anniversary of the declaration of the socialist character of the Revolution, to organizations in Cuba and around the world to ensure that the truth about the island is known in every corner of the planet.

It also serves to formalize the Declaration of the Revolutionary Government, issued on the same date, which shows the Cuban people’s commitment to peace, but also their firmness and willingness to defend their sovereignty.

Cuba signs in support of peace and its Revolution. From one end of the country to the other, tens of thousands of compatriots have thus showed the sentiment of an entire people who, despite imperialist harassment, do not renounce their right to build their own history.

In plazas and parks throughout the country, men and women of all ages, backgrounds, and faiths expressed with their signatures that despite the increasingly frequent threats from the U.S. administration, this nation will not be bowed down or intimidated.
