On behalf of Bolivarian Diplomacy for Peace, “we call upon all the peoples and nations of the world to prioritize dialogue and respect for international law,” Bolivarian Foreign Minister Yvan Gil underscored on his Telegram channel.
Gil also called for cooperation and solidarity, intending to advance collectively toward a future of true peace and justice.
The foreign minister deemed it “essential to reject unilateralism and coercive actions,” and instead boost multilateralism and consensus as pillars of our global coexistence.
The United Nations established the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace in December 2018 to promote dialogue, international cooperation, and the peaceful resolution of conflicts.
The UN noted that the date highlights the importance of joint action among nations to safeguard peace.
