Duenas told Prensa Latina, “Our stay allowed us not only to explore, but also to identify specific areas in which we will expand collaboration.”
The executive explained that the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries Group (BioCubaFarma) will not only participate, but there is also the possibility that other Cuban entities could cooperate with Vietnamese institutions, such as the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST).
He stated that the Academy has excellent equipment, vast knowledge, and a strong desire to cooperate based on the special friendship between our peoples.
The BioCubaFarma vice president signed a cooperation agreement with the Institutes of Chemistry, Biology, and Materials Science, all attached to VAST.
VAST President Tran Hong Thai affirmed, shortly before the ceremony, during a meeting with the Cuban delegation, that the collaboration with Cuba in these areas will be developed in all possible fields and without limitations.
