The closing ceremony, at the Teatro Nacional de Cuba’s Covarrubias Hall will include the works “Panteon” (fragment) by the Ban Rarra Company, “La playa” by Qvo Vadis, and “Alma,” performed by Victor Cabrera representing the company of maestro Santiago Alfonso.
The performance will showcase a diverse array of current creative vitality, stated a release from Havana Dance Center, an institution marking its 20th anniversary this year.
The performance of the DUO, Nosotros, and Cre-Activos projects, from the National Dance School, along with Itineris and the ARTES NEXOS Creative Cell from the University of the Arts, is also highlighted.
The event has given audiences, for several days, workshops, performances, community initiatives, and visual arts proposals.
