The report states that Joaquín de Jesús Vaz, the coordinator of solidarity with Cuba in Timor-Leste, delivered the donation to Cuban Ambassador Alina Aldama.
It also details that the donation “contains syringes and cannulas for children and adults,” which were purchased “with monetary contributions from paramedics at the Comoro Clinic.”
Aldama added that she “expressed her gratitude for the invaluable gesture of solidarity with Cuba from the Timorese healthcare professionals, who appreciate the long-standing collaboration between the two countries in this sector.”
