Scheduled for April 2-8 in the eastern province of Holguín, and despite current fuel and electricity shortages, the event will maintain its essence, with the participation of writers, artists, and cultural promoters who will once again gather in the so-called City of Parks.

  The Memoria Nuestra (Our Memory) Thought Congress will again be the central focus, with panels and conferences on the work of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro and the Saíz brothers, accompanied by research from young intellectuals, the organization announced on social media.

  The program will include regular features such as Palabras Compartidas (Shared Words) for literature, Camara Azul (Blue Camera) for film, Babel for the visual arts, and Bloguerias (Bloggers) for discussions on digital communication.

  There will also be performances of trova music, dance in parks, street theater, improvisation competitions, and rap and rock concerts.

  The Romerias de Mayo are an essential symbol of the AHS’s identity and of young artists’ commitment to Cuban culture and the unity of the people.
