“We have everything they have now, but they don’t have what we have. I’m not just referring to the well-known Oreshnik or the formidable Poseidon; there are other very promising models, which I won’t go into,” Medvedev told the RIA Novosti news agency on Thursday.
Medvedev also highlighted the successes of the “people’s military-industrial complex.” Projects developed in garages have proven successful and are now being replicated, receiving high praise from soldiers on the front lines, he noted.
The politician added that the country’s defense industry is undergoing significant changes, thanks to modernization efforts in recent years.
According to him, Russia’s adversaries have already recognized these large-scale changes, which affect the entire range of equipment, from traditional models to the most modern.
Medvedev previously stated that Russia had no problems with its weapons.
In October, he reported the successful testing of advanced models at the Kapustin Yar proving ground.
