In a statement published this Thursday on its official Telegram channel, the military body indicated that, as a result of decisive actions, units of the Central Troops Group occupied the town of Novoalexandrovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The military ministry also announced that units of the Russian Northern Troops Group established control over the village of Korchakovka, in the Ukrainian province of Sumi.
It also noted that Russian troops attacked Ukrainian energy grid infrastructure used by its Armed Forces.
According to the military body, Ukrainian losses in the area of the military operation exceeded 1,125 personnel during the last 24 hours.
The Central Group suffered the most casualties, with over 295, followed by the Eastern (275), Northern (over 240), Western (up to 190), Southern (over 100), and Dnieper (up to 25) Groups.
In addition, the Ukrainian Army lost 18 armored fighting vehicles, including two US-made M113 personnel carriers, an infantry unit, and an armored personnel carrier, as well as 66 cars, nine field artillery pieces, a BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher system, and a Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system.
Regarding specialized equipment, the destruction of three electronic warfare stations, five radars, and six storage facilities was reported.
For its part, Russian air defenses intercepted seven guided bombs, two projectiles from the HIMARS missile system, and 571 drones.
