The local Foreign Ministry stated that the Burasa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with its Ethiopian counterparts, Sectoral Associations, and the Turkish Embassy in this nation, organized the high-level meeting.
Meles Alem, Director General of Europe and America Affairs at the Foreign Ministry, stated that Addis Ababa is implementing comprehensive macroeconomic reforms aimed at encouraging foreign investment.
Alem urged Turkish entrepreneurs to take advantage of these growing investment opportunities, highlighting the country’s strategic position as a diplomatic hub in Africa.
The forum brings together government officials, business leaders, investors, and representatives of private sector institutions from both countries to discuss ways to deepen economic and trade ties.
