The National News Agency (NNA) reported that two people were killed and five others wounded in an Israeli bombing raid on the town of Tura.
Hours earlier, a member of the Civil Defense was killed in the village of Kfarshouba after an airstrike hit a vehicle.
Israeli fighter jets also bombed the town of Jmeijmeh, in the Bint Jbeil district, while artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of Mansouri and Beit al-Sayyad, even reaching the coastal area of Mansouri-Hamra.
According to the same source, an Israeli force supported by military vehicles attempted to advance at dawn toward the Beit al-Sayad area, opposite the town of Al-Bayada, amidst intense artillery bombardments and reconnaissance helicopter overflights.
Israeli forces also carried out heavy attacks on the city of Khiam and shelled the Sajd Heights in the Jezzine district.
Since March 2, Israel has kept a military offensive against Lebanon that has left at least 2,727 dead, 8,438 wounded, and more than 1.6 million displaced, according to official figures.
