The 26 de Julio Collective and other members of the Metropolitan Zone of the organization restored this weekend a mural approximately 40 meters long by five meters high in San Joaquin commune, south of Santiago.

The work reflects historical moments of the revolutionary process, the Caribbean nation’s struggle against the US blockade, and the “Cuba Is Not Alone” campaign, which seeks to collect medicine, supplies, school materials, and other items for the Caribbean nation.

The idea is that through culture and popular art, the legacy of one of the great world figures of the 20th and 21st centuries can be disseminated.

Several events in support of Cuba took place this weekend in different regions of Chile.

For the solidarity movement, the support for Cuba is more necessary than ever, as Washington implements new coercive measures, tightens the oil blockade that impacts daily life, and threatens military aggression against the country.
