The private company stated, “The infrastructure was designed from the outset for ultralight and lightweight rockets, which allows for reduced operating costs, faster missions, and a high launch frequency.”
Space Energy, founded in 2022 by Georgy Melina, plans to launch its Orbita ultralight rockets from the Primorsky launch pad, which it will build this year in southeastern Russia.
The launch of the first rocket is planned for 2027, although it could take place this year if the project is completed.
