In the final declaration, the participants expressed their concern about the situation in Cuba and underscored the character of Latin America and the Caribbean as a zone of peace based on mutual respect and non-intervention, reflecting the bloc’s growing support for the island’s demands for sovereignty and justice.

Furthermore, the foreign ministers endorsed a profound reform of the global governance system, including the United Nations and the Bretton Woods institutions, to give a greater voice to developing countries and the Global South.

Regarding the Middle East and North Africa region, they expressed their deep concern about Palestine, reaffirming the solution to the conflict through the creation of two countries, with a viable Palestinian state within the 1967 borders and East Jerusalem as its capital.

They also condemned the continued Israeli attacks in Gaza, called for full compliance with the ceasefire in Lebanon and the withdrawal of Israeli forces; regarding Syria, they advocated for a peaceful and inclusive political transition without foreign interference.

Furthermore, the participants in the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting expressed their grave concern about the humanitarian crisis in Sudan and called for a permanent ceasefire.

Finally, they strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir (India) in April 2025 and reaffirmed their commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms.

The declaration denounces unilateral coercive measures that violate international law and calls for working together for a more just world.
