To be held in the central state of Aguascalientes, the 30th National Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba will bring together activists from across the country to continue boosting initiatives in support of the Caribbean nation.
Noemi Rabaza, First Vice President of the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP), and journalist and essayist Katiuska Blanco, are among the guests at the event, which will take place in the event hall of the National Social Security Workers Union (SNTSS).
Also participating will be journalist Alondra Santiago; Yusuam Palacios, director of the Fragua Martiana (Museum of Marti’s Forge); Cuban Ambassador to Mexico Eugenio Martinez, and the second head of Mission, Ambassador Johana Tablada.
The United States has imposed, for more than six decades, an economic, commercial, and financial blockade against Cuba, which was tightened in January through an executive order signed by US President Donald Trump.
