Putin, who delivered his message in a video released before the China visit, expressed his confidence that both nations will continue working together to contribute to global security and stability, as well as deepen partnership and good-neighborly relations, boost the development of their countries, and ensure the well-being of their citizens.

The president affirmed that Moscow-Beijing relations have reached an unprecedented level, which is reflected, among other things, in their willingness to provide mutual support on key issues, including the protection of sovereignty.

The head of State also noted that he was pleased to visit Beijing once again at the invitation of his longtime friend, the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

He added, “The regular exchange of mutual visits and the holding of Russian-Chinese negotiations at the highest level are an important and integral part of our joint efforts to develop the entire complex of relations between our two countries, revealing their truly unlimited potential.”

Putin will be accompanied, during his visit to China, by a delegation that will include deputy prime ministers, ministers, and executives from state-owned and private companies operating in that country.
