Through a message broadcast in X by its Foreign Ministry, The Cuban government extended “sincere congratulations to the Yemeni people and government.”

In the post, the Foreign Ministry of the Caribbean nation makes a vow that the date will serve to continue strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation that unite both countries.

On May 22 the Republic of Yemen celebrates the union of North and South Yemen in 1990.

The ties of thIs Caribbena nation with the Arab country were established in 1972 with the defunct People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen and today maintain its vitality with the current Republic of Yemen.

Their bilateral relations have been characterized by cooperation, friendship and solidarity between the respective governments and peoples.
