Upon his arrival in this country, Valdes was received by Kazakh Trade and Integration Minister Arman Shakkaliyev, who highlighted that the summit aims to deepen and strengthen trade and economic cooperation.
Shakkaliyev noted, “Furthermore, the top priority this year is artificial intelligence (AI).”
The Cuban vice president signed the Joint Action Plan until 2030 between the Caribbean nation and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
A few hours before Valdes arrived in Astana, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s plane also landed in the Kazakh city.
Putin is visiting this nation from May 27 to 29.
