The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) noted that the president will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the full spectrum of relations between their countries.
The diplomatic institution stated that both sides will explore ways to increase cooperation in areas such as energy security, trade and investment, the pharmaceutical sector, health, transportation, and renewable energy.
The Venezuelan delegation will visit, as part of the program, several sites related to the energy, pharmaceutical, and automotive sectors to gain firsthand knowledge of India’s technological and industrial capabilities and explore opportunities for collaboration.
Rodriguez visited India in her previous roles as Venezuelan Foreign Minister in 2015 and as Vice President in 2019, 2023, 2024, and 2025, making this her sixth visit.
The source stated that New Delhi has been an important partner of Venezuela in the areas of energy and investment.
