The clinical study will be carried out at two medical centers in Russia, located in the cities of Moscow and Yaroslavl, the Ministry of Health stated.

It also noted that the vaccine is expected to have a prophylactic effect against dengue virus infection and drastically reduce hospitalizations in endemic regions and countries.

The drug was developed by the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Vaccines and Sera and the Bacterial Preparations Production Enterprise, the report detailed.
