“I hope that we will get the authorization in 2026 for the use of two oncovaccines to treat glioblastoma,” Skvortsova stated at a press briefing, assessing the results of the recently concluded St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
The FMBA director noted that the first vaccine will be a peptide vaccine, Gliopept, but they also expect approval for another Messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine, Glioran, toward the end of this year.
Skvortsova previously revealed that the world’s first pentavalent vaccine against meningococcal infection, Mengovax B, will be registered in 2026.
