The initiative will disseminate content on social media and radio and news networks, including interviews about the situation in the Caribbean nation, according to the Cuban News Agency (ACN), a participant in this network along with media outlets from across the Americas.
The action aims to highlight the resistance of the Cuban people against imperialist aggression and the effects of the energy blockade imposed by the United States government.
It will also showcase the mobilization in Cuba in defense of national sovereignty and the revolutionary project.
The organizers of the “Love is Repaid with Love” broadcast emphasized the urgent duty to reciprocate this gesture of internationalist solidarity to one of the most supportive peoples in the world, precisely at a time when the U.S. offensive against the island is intensifying, ACN reports.
Furthermore, they condemned the criminal policy of economic blockade imposed by Washington and its deliberate objective of starving and destitute Cubans, who refuse to submit their sovereignty to the dictates of the White House.
The call to action, disseminated on various social media platforms, states, “We will come together again through our community and alternative media to amplify the heroic resistance of the Cuban people against U.S. imperialism.”
