The newspaper stated that this amount represents 70 percent of the total international supplies the coastal enclave received and is part of Cairo’s commitment “to lessen the suffering of the Palestinian people amid the genocidal Israeli war.”
It noted that the Egyptian Red Crescent convoys are transporting packages of food, drinking water, fuel, relief supplies, medicine, clothing, tents, and hygiene products.
The publication remembered that this nation has also received thousands of patients and their families from Gaza for free treatment.
Egypt, since the beginning of the conflict, has been a key player in the search for a negotiated solution to the war and a staunch critic of the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian territory, where nearly 73,000 deaths have been reported.
