Putin met with Russian military officials at Kremlin

Moscow, Jun 13 (Prensa Latina) Russia will intensify its retaliatory offensives to deter Ukraine from attacking civilian targets, President Vladimir Putin affirmed during a meeting with military officials, the Kremlin informed.

Putin stated during his meeting with the troops participating in the special military operation that Russia is facing the entire West practically alone, but no one will achieve the country’s strategic defeat.

The president also remembered that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) acted rashly in declaring it could defeat Russia, some even joining the military bloc only to participate in the “dividing of the spoils,” he quipped.

The head of State also explained that Ukraine is increasing its use of medium- and long-range fixed-wing drones to sow discord in Russian society and cause economic damage.

The Russian economy, of course, is suffering damage from the Ukrainian attacks, but the country is recovering quickly from the losses, he noted, adding that with these actions, Kiev will not succeed in dividing Russian society or inflicting considerable economic damage on the country.
