The Swiss Foreign Ministry welcomed, in a publication on X, the Pakistani delegation as one of the mediating parties in the crisis.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry previously confirmed Sharif and Munir’s trip to the European country for the high-level talks scheduled to take place in the city of Burgenstock.

The Pakistani diplomatic institution underscored that the meeting, which will include officials from the host country and Qatar, will focus on the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, signed by Iranian President Massoud Pezheskian and US President Donald Trump.

Diplomatic sources noted that Pakistan will continue to support and boost the implementation of the agreements reached in the said memorandum.
