“Given the massive enemy attacks against our cities, the intensity of which is increasing and will obviously continue to increase, it is time to openly declare that there are no longer any rules regarding neo-Nazi Kyiv, and that there cannot be,” Medvedev wrote on his Max channel.
According Medvedev, the only thing that should be off-limits for Moscow regarding Kyiv is the deliberate destruction—that is, the obviously intentional destruction—of civilians.
He described all other actions as entirely acceptable, despite the reaction of Ukrainian leaders and European countries.
At the end of May, Medvedev called for a significant increase in firepower against the Ukrainian capital.
The Russian military has launched systematic attacks on companies in the military-industrial complex in Kyiv.
Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov strongly condemned the continued attacks by Ukrainian forces against peaceful Russian cities, including St. Petersburg and Moscow.
