According to the diplomat, speaking to Prensa Latina, the students condemned the policy of economic strangulation implemented by the current US administration against Cuba.
Students and professors from the Presidential Academy, the Faculties of History, International Relations, and Economics of Belarusian State University, and the Polytechnic University participated in the solidarity rally, as well as directors of the Society of Friendship with Cuba.
The Cuban ambassador also met with the participants, thanking Belarusian authorities for their support of the Cuban people’s struggle. He also condemned the series of strangling measures affecting the economy of the small Caribbean nation.
