It also addresses the leading trends observed in relation to countries of origin, destination sectors, and mergers and acquisitions.

ECLAC specialists explore, in the second chapter, the relationship between trade and foreign investment and examine the risks stemming from the United States’ tariff policy.

ECLAC formulates, as is customary, a series of recommendations aimed at strengthening policies to attract capital to the region.
