China sanctions 10 US companies and restricts exports

Beijing, Jun 22 (Prensa Latina) China announces resumption the inclusion of 10 US entities on its export control list, in response to Washington's decision to add Chinese companies to the list of entities linked to the army.

The measure bans Chinese export operators from selling dual-use items to the 10 companies, which include Aveox, Inc., Red Cat Holdings, Inc., Teal Drones, Inc., IMSAR, Jaia Robotics, Inc., Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., Oshkosh Defense, L3Harris Maritime Services, Inc., MP Materials Corp., and US Rare Earth, Inc.

The Commerce Ministry stated that the action is based on China’s Export Control Law and the Regulation on Export Control of Dual-Use Items.

The move aims to safeguard national security and interests, as well as uphold international non-proliferation obligations.

The Ministry recently expressed its strong opposition to the inclusion of Chinese companies on the list of military companies, announced by the US Department of Defense.
